Sales Engineer
Job Requrements / Description
 8 - 10 years of successful technical sales and/or customer facing engineering support
Some background in Near Field Communications and/or Contactless technology solutions
Searching for new clients who might benefit from company products or services and maximizing customer potential in designated regions;
Travelling to visit customers in the Americas, Europe and Asia (25% Travel)
Developing and growing long-term relationships with customers;
Managing and interpreting customer requirements - speaking with clients to understand, anticipate and meet their needs;
Persuading clients that a product or service best satisfies their needs in terms of quality, price and delivery;
Calculating client quotations;
Negotiating and closing sales by agreeing terms and conditions;
Offering after-sales support services;
Administering client accounts;
Analyzing costs and sales;
Preparing reports for management;
Meeting regular sales targets;

Dealing with vendors across the globe and contract manufacturers

Managing certifications and compliance (FCC, CE, EMI etc)
Managing aggressive schedules and delivery
Managing firmware, software deliverables across the globe
Preferred: PMI certified PMP
10-20 % travel involved
Experience interacting and dealing with off-shore teams a must
Prior h/w or s/w experience with RFID, Contactless of NFC technology projects a plus.
Excellent written and oral communication skills

Must have experience with test automation for both performance and functional tests (Experience with Silk/Winrunner+loadrunner/Jmeter)
Must have experience working on both Linux and Windows platforms
Experience testing mobile applications (blackbox) with mobile attachments/accessories
Must have experience testing web application and security products
Experience with code profiling a plus.
Must have prior experience working with remote teams and delivering on aggressive schedule.
Must have good written and oral communication skills
Experience writing detailed test cases and test documents is a must.
Experience with SVN, Trac a plus
Experience testing smartcard apps, contactless apps or prior experience with contactless/NFC projects a plus.
