TranZfinity's senior management team is made up of Senior Executives that have proven track records in their past positions with an emphasis in the delivery of secure transaction solutions.
Jesse Adams (Co-Founder, Chairman & Chief Operating Officer/ Board Member) Mr. Adams has most recently held a variety of positions at VeriFone as its EVP/Vice Chairman through a successful IPO. He has held a variety of senior executive level management positions at Sungard Data Systems, Geac Computer Systems, and VeriFone over the past 19 years. Mr. Adams has worked and partnered with many top fortune 100 company executives primarily in the Financial, Information Technology, Services and Retail markets. He graduated from the U.S. Military Academy - West Point with a B.S. in Applied Science and Engineering.
Jeff Miles (Co-Founder, CEO & President / Board Member) Mr. Miles has over 18 years of international and US experience as a key executive with VeriFone, ARCO and TNT Express Worldwide. He has spent over 10 years in the payments industry and played a key role in bringing contactless payments to the Quick serve industry through a partnership with VeriFone and MasterCard that led to the largest retail roll-out of contactless readers to date. Mr. Miles also has extensive international experience successfully rolling out global systems to over 72 countries. Mr. Miles has held key management positions in numerous start-up and Fortune 500 companies. He graduated from Pepperdine University in 1990 with a B.A. in Political Science.
Rob Canterbury (Co-Founder, CMO, Global Sales & Business Development) Mr. Canterbury has over 18 years experience in the secure transaction and payments industries with roles in international business development, sales management, channel management, and marketing. Most recently, Mr. Canterbury was responsible for global sales and international business development initiatives as the Vice President of Global QSR Payment Systems at VeriFone where he played a key role in bringing contactless payment infrastructure to market through partnerships with MasterCard, Visa, American Express and others. His education includes Business Administration and Finance studies at the University of San Diego and coursework through the Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University.
Senthil Kanagaratnam (CTO) Mr. Kanagaratnam brings 13 years of technology management experience. Prior to joining TranZfinity, he had progressive responsibility managing engineering teams at companies such as Symbol, Motorola and Hypercom. At Symbol, he managed the technical marketing group for Symbol's POS and Kiosk division, and was instrumental in growing the division’s revenue from $10MM to over $ 35MM in one year. He also served as Vice-President of technology architecture at Hypercom where he defined the software framework, architecture and software roadmap. Most recently, Mr. Kanagaratnam served in an engineering leadership role at Yahoo, where he was responsible for managing advertising platforms. He holds a Bachelors degree in Computer Science from the University of London, is a PMI certified PMP and holds management qualifications from the UK professional body CIMA. 
Felix Marx (CEO, SCM Microsystems) Felix Marx joined SCM Microsystems in October 2007. Since 2003, he has held a variety of management positions with NXP Semiconductors, amongst other things as General Manager of the NFC business, which focuses on the use of existing contactless smart card standards, and as General Manager of the Contactless & Embedded Security business, where he was responsible for the smart card (mobile communications, banking, e-government), NFC and reader businesses. Mr. Marx also has several years’ experience in the data and voice networking sector, where he held various sales, marketing, product management and business line management positions with companies including Global One Telecommunications and Ericsson. Mr. Marx holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the Technical Academy in Vienna and a Master of Advanced Studies in Knowledge Management from Danube University Krems in Austria.
Bud Waller, (EVP, VeriFone) Mr. Waller has served as Executive Vice President, Integrated Solutions at the world’s leading payment systems provider, VeriFone, since December 2004. Since joining VeriFone in 1986, Mr. Waller served in a number of leadership positions including Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Worldwide Petro Division. Prior to working at VeriFone, Mr. Waller worked for 11 years at General Electric Company, serving in several financial management positions. Mr. Waller holds an M.B.A. from Syracuse University. 
Jonatan Schmidt (Co-Founder, Board Member) Mr. Schmidt’s career has been dedicated to an understanding of market dynamics as well as the technical underpinnings for systems that enable payment and other secure transactions of all types. He has 18 years of experience in product and services development in point-of-sale technology, including bank card, transaction processing, and POS and ATM equipment and services. Most recently, Mr. Schmidt was CTO and Chief Scientist at Hypercom Corporation. He holds a Master's Degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Financial Systems, both from Moscow University in the Russian Federation. He received an Undergraduate Degree in Market Psychology from Sorbonne University in Paris, and an Undergraduate Degree in Computer Science from Tel-Aviv University in Israel.
